A thousand animals died on this site
More than a mere thousand years ago
Time and pressure formed a soft fuel
A commodity to use
Turn it into power
Never mind the smoke
Send it skyward
Use it up
Exploit
End

A thoughtful poem about the environment around us. It is sad that natural fossil fuels like coal, oil and ore are being used up ever so rapidly. At some point I think we will be hit hard by it. Think how electricity and food prices are always rising each year. Greed and complacency is probably to blame. Bit of a pessimistic thought for the weekend, though… Hope you are well, Andy 🙂

Cheers Mabel – it is a little pessimistic, however it is important to maintain a realistic picture of what we are doing in the world and to find realistic alternatives to lessen our impact. I am doing well thank you for asking and I hope you are doing like-wise 🙂

your most welcome.. you know whether sad or happy, things that are shared the best way leave their mark. We can not stop from the sad stories being lived by people, but sharing them gives us a lesson. It prompts us to be kind to others and towards life as well..
