  1. Love the way you wrote this poem, Andy. As per your tags, I like how this poem of a tree can micmic a relationship or maybe someone you fancy. Sometimes things just get so uncertain in a relationship at some point. Love the double etheree. It looks like an hourglass, and it reminds me of time…the notion of which is so fitting to this poem. Great poetry again as always.

And a very abstract edited image too πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Mabel – I m stoked with your comments – I used the double etheree to give the hourglass visual and hint at time and the photoshopping of the Silky Oak trees to signify deterioration. Nature can mimic the stages of our lives/relationships – or is it the other way around πŸ™‚ As an aside note, since taking the proto of these trees (I have about a dozen taken at different times of the day and year) on has fallen down in a storm. It is terribly sad and I am sure the remaining one feels very lonely… at least it looks lonely to me . thanks again Mabel πŸ™‚

      • So, so sad to hear only one tree is standing. But if you do see it again, it will get all of your love. Andy πŸ™‚ Hope you are having a good weekend. It is yet another windy weekend in Melbourne. Have to put off exploring for a bit.

  2. Oh! Just one tree is remaining 😦 Imagine just one human is there on this planet! I’m feeling so sad for the tree, Andy…but give her some time, she will recover, at least, I hope so…

The double Etheree is PERFECTLY done! Time is our keeper, our healer and also the destroyer… πŸ™‚
