I’m always on the look-out for haiku and other short, in-the-moment poems, for ‘the zen space’, an online showcase for such things. Just search wordpress for ‘thezenspace’. I’m looking for new ‘names’, new people to write some new material for me. So if you or anyone you know would like to submit something, please let me know – the submission details are on the ‘thezenspace’ site.
Thanks.

Short and sweet poem once again, Andy. I like it. Summer rain? Cooling down for you? Looking out my window, it does not look like it’s raining. It’s warm. Too warm for tea. Kind of humid too. I wonder how Melbourne is doing right now π

I was shuttling around your neck of the woods earlier this week. We might have crossed paths for all you know… π Looks like I’m taking the sun away with me for next week π

haha – you are welcome to the sun – my lawn is looking forward to a bit of rain, although my dog is not a huge fan of thunder so that may be a problem π So you couldn’t resist a little time in the ‘Sunshine State” eh. Did you go to GOMA while you were here? – there is an excellent video installation that I am going back to see again. It is shows folk musicians from a few different ethnic backgrounds playing and singing traditional songs in modern settings – swimming pools, trains etc. I think you would enjoy it. Take it easy Mabel π

I didn’t manage to visit GOMA, but is sounds fascinating especially with that installation that you described. Was very, very pressed for time before moving on a bit south of your part of the state. Wasn’t a trip for fun and games, really ππ But made some time to check out the beaches and wow, the sand here is so much softer compared to that in Melbourne π π
