With the suns arrival
and the departure of the night
My body stirs…
It needs stuff.
Tea, strong and white,
Toast - blonde
Eggs, over easy
Painkillers by two
Happy pill by one
Stomach - there’s one for you too
Eyes - cleared
Skin - moisturised
A walk - Knee strapped
Cane - in hand
Sunglasses - prescription grade, on
Dog - ready
Let's do this day.
A great telling of the start to the new day.

What a brilliant poem breaking down how many of us start the day. The painkillers part…that part rings true for some days for me 😂 A good start to the say might mean a better day ahead, or maybe more ready to tackle the day. Hope all is well, Andy 🏖😊

Thank you Mabel 🙂 Hope you have warmed up way down there… the second day of Summer so maybe the morning aches will be less frequent :D. It is boiling here and bad bushfires around the state 😦 Take it easy
