I write poetry, haiku, senryu, tanka and short stories. I have recently discovered iPhone photography and all the associated photo manipulation apps – this sometimes inspires my writing, but usually it is just a diversion.

I found you blog after seeing a comment you made on another blog about how the sound of a pencil on paper represents a thought being brought into this world… I liked how you said that 🙂 I’m very interested in reading some of your poetry, once I have a bit of time to really concentrate, so I’ll be back! Very happy to follow you! Have a great day!

getting an iPhone a few years ago started my re-connection to photography – from there to a DSLR – and I agree – often an inspiration – and yes – it can be a diversion – but what a beautiful way to spend some time 🙂

Indeed Claire. I feel a little lost when I don’t have my phone with me – I worry that this is the day that the perfect shot will come along and aargh! – no phone 🙂 When that happens I usually write a poem 🙂

like your work… I have written an article on why “aeroplanes can’t fly” on my blog

Just in case you would need a reason for not using aeroplanes for travelling

You have a great blog. Fine poetry and writings. Also a well designed site. Photography is a great hobby and for what I have seen it looks like you have a very good eye to take pictures.

I enjoy what I see and like to share it – my poetry is all over the place I think – one minute saying how wonderful things are the next talking about suicide… I guess nobody will be bored with a continuing subject line 🙂
